Introduction To The Teachings

To fully understand the Bible, we must first get one thing clear. The Bible is the revealed Word and Will of God. Some claim that this is the greatest kept secret because people just have not believed. To be logical and consistent, either the entire Bible is the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation or it is not the Word of God anywhere. Now in some instances, verses may not have been correctly translated, but overall, we must first believe the Bible is 100% true and God inspired. We will find those wrong translations as we reseach through the scriptures because they will stick out like a sore thumb. Always remember, no scripture can contradict another verse of scripture.

II Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

The words "All scripture" are followed by the word "is." "All scripture is ..." The word "is" must be italicized. All italicized words in the King James Versions are words that have been added by the translators.

If a person deletes a word that is italicized, the Word of God has not been touched. The italicized word was added anyway, so by dropping it, The Word itself has not been touched.

As far as we know, there are no original texts in existence today that can be called the "Original Bible". The oldest dated Biblical manuscript is from 464 AD and written in Aramaic. At best we have copies of the originals.

The Bible we will be referring to throughout this website is called the King James Version. It is not the King James translation. If we had the King James translation in our hands, we would have a Bible that is worth a great deal of money as a collector's item. Once a translation has been made from an original text, like the Stephens Text from which the King James was translated, the first copy is called a translation. When scholars begin to rework the translation in any way, it becomes a version.

Since we have no originals and the oldest manuscripts date back to fifth century, how can we get back to the authentic prophecy which was given when holy men of God spoke? To get the Word of God out of any translation, we have to compare one word with another word and one verse with another verse. We have to study the context of all the verses. If it is the Word of God, then it cannot have a contradiction; for God cannot contradict Himself. The error has to be either in the translation or in our understanding.

There were no chapters and verses in the original manuscripts like we have today. Chapters began to show up in 1250 AD. Verses first appeared in 1560 AD, and then in the 1611 AD translation known as the King James version. As you read the Bible, keep in mind that chapters and verses were added for our convenience. In some Bibles, there is "red" print. This is supposed to be the words uttured by Jesus Christ. The King James version is a good example of this and does present itself helpful in some instances.

Center references which run down the center of the King James pages tell what some editors think has some connection with that verse. Sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong. All of these markings have been added and they can confuse the average reader.

Punctuation is another issues we must deal with when researching the Bible. There were no commas, periods, italics, etc. in the original manuscripts. Some denominations teach one thing and another denomination teach another thing because of simple punctuation. If you want the Bible to say something to substantiate your theology, all you have to do is to change the punctuation. This of course would be pure blasphemy. When reading something that can be taken two different ways because of a punctuation mark, then you need to step back and research exactly how that verse was meant to be taken. When you read something, you need to keep this in mind when researching the Bible.

II Peter 1:20 - 21
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

If you really want to learn and understand the Bible, you must realize that no prophecy, not one verse of Scripture is of any private interpretation. If I say, "This is what I think it means" or you say, "No, this is what I think it means", or if any denomination writes, "This is what our denomination says it means," we have private interpretation. All Scripture will interpret itself in one of three ways: (1) it interprets itself in the verse where it is written; or (2) it interprets itself in its contexts; or (3) the interpretation can be found by its previous usage in The Word of God.

There are some words that were used in 464 AD that may have a completely different meaning in today's society. Another point is that all these verses together must be in the same harmony with all other Biblical references on the same topic. We will get into many of these topics in other teachings, but please keep in mind what you have read here.

Another problem we face is most people believe that the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation is written to them. This is not true. When reading a Book of the Bible, it should tell you very clearly who that Book has been specifically addressed. Now, can we learn from other Books that are not addressed to us? Certainly, just like if someone were to take a letter that was addressed to another person from our United States Postal Service. Could you learn something from reading someone else's mail? You bet we could, but what was written inside would not be addressed to us and we would not be obligated to do anything with someone else's mail.

Did you know that there are two Gods?

II Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

If you look in many different Bibles, you will also notice the word "god" is not capilized in this verse. We only capitalize a word like "God" or "Him" when referring to the "Creator" or "His" "Son" "Jesus Christ". Have you ever heard of this before? Why not?

Did you ever stop and look at where you are in life? So many times people all around us seem to prosper multiple times when some struggle most of their life. Some may say, "The world is not fair", or "That person is lucky". Some may say that their lives are pretty good.

I know someone who went throught his whole life being handed everything to him on a silver platter. His parents gave him everything, society liked him, he made a lot of money at his job, he had a wonderful wife, beautiful children, and never had "rough" times his whole life. It was like on big party. Other people worked hard, struggled to put food on the table, had wonderful children with great attitudes, a wonderful wife, but just never seem to be able to get ahead.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus Christ came that we (you and I) might have life and have it more abundantly. If that is the case, then why do some people have an abundant life and some barely even have a life? Many times I observe Christian people not living an abundant life. Non-Christians seem to manifest a more abundant life than many members of my Church. If Jesus Christ came that men and women might have a more abundant life, why is it that the Christian believers do not manifest even an abundant life?

The Word of God says Jesus Christ came that we might have life not just abundant, but more than abundant. If the Word of God is not reliable here in John 10:10, how can we trust it anywhere else? On the other hand, if Jesus told the truth, if He meant what He said and said what He meant, then surely there must be keys, signs to guide us to the understanding and the receiving of this life which is more than abundant. I will do my best to reveal some of these Biblical keys that have been revealed to me. What you do with them from this point on is completely up to you.

Join me in this very long and lifetime journey into the Bible. I promise it will be unlike anything you have experienced previously. You will learn some new things, possibly correct some wrong teachings you have heard, and begin to enjoy reading the Bible with a greater understanding.
